The laboratory has been working in structural and functional genomics of rapeseed, soybean, peanut, and sesame. Special emphasis has been given to cloning and function analysis of genes related to disease resistance and related molecular network, metabolism and regulation of quality traits, male sterility and yield related traits. Molecular markers for important traits and genetic linkage maps have also been studied. Several important genes have been elucidated for their functions.
