First Announcement

The 5th International Bacterial Wilt Symposium will be held at the Oil Crops Research Institute (OCRI) of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS) located in Wuhan in central China during 20-24 June 2011. The symposium will focus on research for plant bacterial wilt and its control worldwide, covering topics including epidemiology, diversity of Ralstonia solanacearum, genetics & pathogenesis of R. solanacearum, breeding and mechanism of resistance to bacterial wilt, biological control, and integrated management. An international organizing committee will be announced soon. Scientific presentations will be invited based on collection of abstracts. Any suggestion for the symposium would be appreciated.
